It was amazing to spend time in community with others, giving ourselves the gift of reflection, learning, and engaging dialogue. It was such a joy to talk and truly listen. The AMI/USA Montessori Experience 2026 offered all of this and more.

The conference was energizing.
The room was full.
The ideas felt expansive.

There is something powerful about being surrounded by people who believe in growth. We leave inspired, affirmed, and certain that we are ready to do things differently.

And then Monday morning arrives.

The inbox is waiting.
The classroom is full.
The leadership decisions feel urgent.

And that quiet tension shows up again. The gap between what we believe and what we consistently practice.

This is the moment where real change begins.

Change Is Harder Than Inspiration

Inspiration is emotional.
Transformation is behavioral.

We often underestimate how difficult change truly is. Not because we lack commitment, but because change disrupts identity, habit, and comfort. It asks us to pause when we are used to reacting.
