What are Montessori Based Support Services

Montessori Based Support Services (MBSS) is a Montessori grounded model schools can use to build more responsive, strength based systems of inclusion, intervention, and support. Informed by the Power of Possibility, careful observation, and respect for human development, MBSS guides schools in intentionally designing support structures that meet the diverse needs of students through aligned environments, relationships, and systems.

Our  work focuses on bringing a Montessori based support approach into schools to build inclusive, responsive support ecosystems. MBSS shifts attention away from deficit driven thinking and toward how environments, relationships, roles, and systems work together, allowing all children to belong, participate, and continue becoming within a thoughtfully prepared learning community.
